The James Beard Foundation has recently announced its full compliment of 2023 Award nominees, with the latest category - Media - being unveiled in a recent live ceremony in New York. The finalists join the already announced Restaurant and Chef categories ahead of the winners being announced in early June.
Categories for Media included Book Award nominees, Broadcast Media nominees, as well as Journalism nominees. Categories for the Restaurant and Chef Awards include Outstanding Chef, Outstanding Restaurant, Best New Restaurant, Outstanding Restauranteur, Emerging Chef, Outstanding Bakery, Outstanding Pastry Chef or Baker, Outstanding Hospitality, Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program, Outstanding Bar, and regional Best Chef awards too.
