As we start to gear up for the festive period the latest wave of pop ups and celebrations are being unveiled, including an exciting new immersive Great Feast that's descending on London's Old Selfridges Hotel from November. The new pop-up features food from a number of star names including A. Wong's Andrew Wong, Selin Kiazim of Oklava, Chef Patron of Restaurant Story Tom Sellers and more as part of a four-stage experience for those who manage to get tickets.
This immersive food palace is the brainchild of Street Feast founder Dominic Cools-Lartigue, featuring an extravagant food counter, aptly called the "Counter of Joy" alongside a dessert experience delivered by Chin Chin Labs and cocktails from Rich Woods, a.k.a The Cocktail guy, named Wonky Dreams. To cap it off the Feast also features a multi-sensory immersive experience called "Joyride", one we're intrigued to see come to life, which features food from Chef and Restauranteur Andrew Clarke, combined with direction from food artist Caroline Hobkinson.
The location itself is an impressive one being London's iconic Old Selfridges Hotel in Marylebone. Ticket holders will be welcomed from Thursday 11th November, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday weekly, through until 18th December.
"Our 14-dish feast at The Counter of Joy arrives from seven of London's best chefs, celebrating the great diversity on offer in the city, from Michelin-starred restaurants to neighbourhood spots with a well-deserved cult following. Here, you can travel through your senses from the mountains of China to the coastlines of West Africa, city bakeries of Turkey and country pastures of the British Isles. Each dish represents and celebrates the best of what London has to offer."
The full list of participating chefs includes - Andrew Wong, Tom Sellers, Selin Kiazim, Jason Howard, Chantelle Nicholson, Ravinder Bhogal and Adejoké Bakare. Find out more here.
