In conjunction with Platinum Guild International USA (PGI-USA) jewellery designer Alex Woo is pleased to announce the launch of her newest Little Activist Icon, a platinum beehive and honeybee pendant. Renowned for her signature fine jewellery collections and charitable efforts, Woo collaborated with two-time EMMY® Award winning costume designer Lyn Paolo to design this platinum piece that will support the Haagen Dazs® Loves Honey Bees program. This marks Woo's first venture in platinum and is a limited edition design for 2015.
PGI-USA's partnership with Lyn Paolo, a personal lover of platinum jewelry, introduced her to a variety of jewellery designers, including Woo. The two discovered a shared passion for saving the honeybees, which generated the idea for this Little Activist Icon. Designed in platinum to capture the everlasting dedication to the cause, the Icon is accented with fancy vivid yellow diamonds and hangs from a diamond cut platinum chain and retails for $1898.
