Asia's 50 Best Bars have been announced for 2017, with Singapore once again being the leading drinking capital of Asia as its Manhattan Bar took the top spot, climbing from fifth last year. In total, 13 bars from Singapore make up the top 50 including five new entries - Atlas (12th) at Parkview Square; Employees Only Singapore (17th) and Native (20th) - both being at Amoy Street; Nutmeg & Clove (30th) at Ann Siang Hill; and The Other Room (35th) at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel.
No. 1 in 2016, 28 HongKong Street, Singapore, drops down to fourth place, while Shanghai's Speak Low takes second spot one place ahead of High Five, Tokyo, which continues to flourish following a move to a larger premises.
