This month, Afroposure, your local store championing diversity in food and drink, have introduced a new BAME vending machine in Peckham Town Centre Carpark, London. The new dispenser is stocked solely with drinks, food and hot sauces created by entrepreneurs and companies from Black and ethnic minority backgrounds.
Products and brands featured include dried fruit snacks from Jungle Fruits, plantain chips extraordinaire from Sankofa Snacks, Award winning Caribbean condiments from Vikky's Kitchen, African inspired foods and snacks for those with special dietary needs from Shores of Africa, and many more.
"We believe Black and ethnic minority entrepreneurs are underrepresented in the food and drink industry, so we're doing something about it. ACCESS, OPPORTUNITY and EXPOSURE are three barriers to entry preventing diverse entrepreneurs from thriving. We want to revolutionise the way independent brands are positioned by creating innovative channels to reach you, the customer." Afroposure say on their website.
