Australian beer brand Victoria Bitter is jumping on the Ashes competitive spirit to try to boycott the traditional English tea in favour of something a little more Aussie - beer-flavoured tea.
The new drink ticks all the current beverage trend boxes in one go, being vegan, gluten-free and non-alcoholic, made from a blend of ceylon black tea leaves and Victoria Bitter's own Super Pride Hops.
"We know Aussies love nothing more than watching the cricket with a VB in hand," Victoria Bitter brand director Chris Maxwell said. "So when the boys are in England, they'll be watching into the wee hours of the morning and need a cuppa."
