After leaving Sydney last year, Bill Granger opened his new London venture, Granger & Co on Westbourne Grove, London, we went along for coffee and cake to check out this eagerly anticipated opening.
The restaurant is open seven days a week, serving breakfast through to dinner. It's a no bookings/walk-in policy with a huge amount to choose from the menus. Bill's Sydney Classics to look out for are ricotta hotcakes with fresh banana & honeycomb butter and sweetcorn fritters with roast tomato, spinach & bacon .
We enjoyed delicious toasted banana and chocolate loaf with ricotta, a very moist and tasty bran muffin and 5 grain porridge with buttered apples all topped off with great coffee and a refreshing rosehip and mint punch. Well worth a detour for but watch for the queues for weekend breakfast. http://grangerandco.com/
