Bisto are the latest household name food brand to introduce a new range of products which sees an expansion on their core range, with their new Roast Potato and Roast Chicken seasonings.
We recently saw Heinz introduce their new Culinary Tomatoes range aimed at home cooks, a line featuring 11 brand new products which include passata, chopped tomatoes and different base sauces for curries and pizza too.
Bisto's new seasonings are designed to elevate classic home-cooked dishes in a ready-to-mix sachet format, with flavours including Sea Salt, Black Pepper and Onion, as well as Rosemary and Garlic for the Roast Potato Seasonings; and Roast Garlic & Herb, Lemon & Black Pepper, and Smoked Paprika & Sundried Tomato for the Roast Chicken Marinades.
Marketing Director for Flavors and Seasonings at Premier Foods Mark Alldred said of the new seasonings range: "There are more than 1.2 billion roast occasions a year, however, many consumers feel that creating a traditional roast with all of the trimmings is hard work. Our new and flavourful addition to the Bisto range is designed to further improve the popularity of this meal occasion by adding interesting flavours in an easy-to-use format. With Bisto introducing seasonings to their portfolio, the brand will also attract new shoppers to the category, especially with more people experimenting when cooking at home."
This new range, together with Heinz's new tomato line, come at a time where more affordable ways of cooking elevated classic meals at home are of high interest.
