QSR chain Burger King has introduced its all new dirty vegan nuggets in celebration of World Vegan Day, a fully plant-based limited time only menu addition. The new nuggets are made from plant-based 'chicken' from The Vegetarian Butcher and are made 'dirty' by being smothered in smoked barbecue sauce before being topped with crispy onions.
The dirty vegan nuggets were introduced nationwide in the UK today, 1st November to celebrate World Vegan Day, and will be available until Sunday 6th November. Customers can also order the nuggets via Deliveroo too.
Burger King is no stranger to introducing plant-based alternatives to its menus having given away 10,000 plant-based and vegan burgers on National Burger Day this August to help breakdown consumers reluctancies to at least try meat-free alternatives. The chain plans to go 50% meat-free by 2030 and has already launched its first meat-free restaurant, an all-vegan pop-up in Bristol following the success of a meat-free trial at its flagship Leicester Square store earlier this year.
