Following previous releases Bacchus Gin and Chardonnay Vodka, English drinks producer Chapel Down has launched its latest blend, a world first with its new Pinot Noir Gin. The drink forms an aromatic pink gin with delicate aromas of red berries balanced against the juniper led palate and citrus flavour.
Blending the grape distillate from the Chapel Down harvest with English wheat spirit, this is a truly unique gin infused with juniper, coriander, dried red berries, rose buds, citrus fruits, rosehip, angelica and grains of paradise which brilliantly reflects the characteristics of the Pinot Noir grape variety
The three Chapel Down spirits come in elegant, custom-made 70ml glass bottles which nod to the two production processes; distillation and winemaking. The bottom half of the bottle reflects a cut-glass crystal decanter and the frosted top half of the bottle denotes the classic shape of a wine bottle.
