Popular frozen pizza brand Chicago Town has launched a limited-edition chocolate pizza to the UK market. The sweet-toothed dessert pizza features a innovative chocolate dough base topped off with a variety of milk, dark and white chocolate.
The new Chicago Town pizza was launched in outlets of Iceland and Tesco in September, before being rolled out across other major supermarkets during October and November during a targeted PR & advertising campaign to help raise the brands profile.
Richard Cooper, senior brand manager for Chicago Town at Dr. Oetker, told FoodBev Media: "We're excited to be expanding Chicago Town into the dessert market. The chocolate dough base and indulgent chocolate toppings makes it unique to both the dessert and pizza categories.
