Chocolate and Snacking NPD with News from Nescafe and McVitie's

The latest moves from across the chocolate and snacking category as Nestlé's Dolce Gusto brand launches a new collaboration with KitKat, whilst McVitie's introduces a new cocoa-flavoured Rich Tea.

Inspired by the iconic KitKat, Nestlé's new Dolce Gusto hot chocolate pods allow you to indulge in the KitKat signature notes of wafer and cocoa, all in a smooth and creamy cup of hot chocolate from the comfort of your home. The pods are Non-HFSS (Non-High in Fat, Salt, and Sugar) and are made with sustainably sourced cocoa.

Sophie Demoulin, Marketing Director at Nescafé Dolce Gusto UK, said: "We are really excited to have partnered with KitKat to launch our new Nescafé Dolce Gusto Hot Chocolate pods. Inspired by the world's favourite break, these pods allow you to recreate your coffee shop experience and enjoy the iconic KitKat from the comfort of your sofa."

In the biscuit category, McVitie's has launched a new cocoa-flavoured version of its Rich Tea variety, called The Cocoa One. It's the first time that the simple Rich Tea has been given a makeover and it follows the success of the brand's "The Light Ones" range - lower-sugar versions of Digestives and Rich Tea biscuits.

The new Rich Tea The Cocoa One biscuits are now available in Tesco stores around the UK.
