Chocolatey Makeovers For Two Iconic Brands

We're seeing a fair bit of innovation and new product development across chocolate snacking and flavours of late, including two new launches from Kelloggs and also Nestlé brand Aero.

Cereal giant Kellogg's recently unveiled a new chocolate flavour for its popular Corn Flakes cereal variety, a rare change to the classic golden flakes cereal which has been around for over 100 years. Currently available at Tesco stores around the UK, the new flavour is non-HFSS, made with 100% responsibly sourced corn and is high in fibre & vitamin D.

On the snack aisles you'll now also find a new Aero flavour as of this January, with the new Choco Hazelnut sharing bar. Described on product pages as, 'Enjoy the light yet indulgent flavour of Hazelnut in a chocolate bar with its unique bubbly aerated centre that melts in your mouth.'

Having launched back in 1935, Aero bars have seen a selection of flavour variants over the years including festive chocolate orange, peppermint and caramel too.

"We can't wait to share the heavenly combination of Aero and hazelnut", said Assistant Brand Manager for Aero Michael Kehoe, "Aero's iconic light and airy chocolate bubbles have been loved worldwide for decades, and this new hazelnut flavour takes it to a whole new level. We hope our Aero fans will enjoy the indulgent taste experience of the rich hazelnut flavour whilst feeling the bubbles melt."

In addition to the new Aero bar, Nestlé is also introducing an exciting launch for Aero Peppermint fans, a larger 145g sharing bar. These new bars are now available at supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide.
