Chomps' New Zealand partnership makes for a leaner snack!

The grass-fed Angus beef chosen for the Chomps is not only leaner than U.S. grass-fed beef used previously; it is also more flavourful and higher in vitamins, nutrients, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. New Zealand's light human footprint, coupled with its' clean air means that high quality Angus cattle roam free year-round, grazing on healthy non-GMO (genetically modified organisms) grass. New Zealand also enjoys mild but wet winters, and warm but dry summers- making it the ideal climate for grass-fed beef production.

The new benefits it is able to offer its customers include:

  • Increase to 9g protein per stick
  • 100% Non-GMO grass-fed Angus beef (which is hard to find in U.S.)
  • Continual access to high quality grass-fed beef due to New Zealand's optimal farming conditions (harsher climates in the U.S. means that cattle are unlikely to graze on non-GMO grass year-round, so non-GMO grass-fed beef is harder to source)

At Chomps they pride themselves in producing 100% grass-fed beef snack sticks which are of the highest quality. It does this by sourcing the best and cleanest ingredients to ensure that its customers continue to get the great tasting, healthy snack they have become accustomed to. It is continuously looking to improve and expand its products through research, which has led to the move away from grass-fed beef sourced in the U.S.
