Christmas Sauce Launches A-Plenty Of Late

As we creep closer to Christmas, the festive-themed new product launches are coming thick and fast. The latest of these is a wave of festive sauces hitting the shelves including from Heinz and Sauce Shop.

Heinz has dropped its new advent calendar this month, the 12 Days of Saucemas - 12 surprise windows revealing a variety of Heinz favourites. You can expect to find some of Heinz most popular flavours within, including Heinz Tomato Ketchup, English Mustard, Truffle Mayonnaise and Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise, as well as some of the more unique flavours such as Heinz Burger Sauce and Heinz Sweet Chilli Sauce.

Heinz have made only 2,000 of these 12 Days of Saucemas calendars though, so you'll have to be quick - now available from the Heinz at Home eCommerce store.

Elsewhere, British craft condiment brand Sauce Shop has launched two limited-edition festive sauces in an exclusive partnership with supermarket chain Aldi. The new Sauce Shop flavours are Brussels Sprout Kimchi Hot Sauce and Spiced Cranberry Hot Honey.

The one-of-a-kind Brussels Sprout sauce combines Brussels sprout kimchi, green jalapeños and festive spices for a tangy, fiery kick that promises to take festive meals to new heights. Whilst the Spiced Cranberry Hot Honey Sauce , a delicious twist on Sauce Shop's best-selling Honey Sriracha Drizzle. This spicy concoction blends warm mulled wine spices with sweet honey and tangy cranberry for an irresistible flavour combination.

Pam, Co-Owner of Sauce Shop, says: "We've taken our passion for fermentation and applied it to something unexpected — Brussels sprouts. Our limited-edition hot sauce, made exclusively for Aldi, showcases the versatility of this superfood veggie. Drizzle it over your Christmas dinner, spice up your Boxing Day sandwich or even add a kick to a turkey noodle stir-fry, the possibilities are endless."

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, says: "Our latest collaboration with Sauce Shop might be our most controversial yet. Love them or hate them, we're confident this unique hot sauce will win over even the most sprout averse."

The new flavours follow another recent collaboration with Aldi which saw the exclusive launch of The Sauce Shop Truffalo Hot Sauce and The Sauce Shop Burnt Pineapple Sauce.
