Drive-ins have proven a growing trend around the world as people seek to enjoy a socially distanced summer, with good food and dining, as chef Tom Kerridge leads the way in the UK with his Drive & Dine Theatre.
Reviving the format of the drive-in cinema, while bringing it up to the modern day with gourmet dining has seen tickets sell fast for Kerridge's series of events which launched on July 7th and shall run until August.
Top blockbuster films shall be complimented by a menu curated by Kerridge himself and enjoyed by diners from the comfort of their own car; adhering to COVID measures the entire time.
Speaking of the Drive & Dine Theatre series, Kerridge stated: "I am so excited to announce a great new event created to have a load of fun in a way that is safely suited to current times. Come and eat some good grub, catch some quality movies, and make some new memories with your loved ones. It's the perfect trip out of the house!"
Available across the country, Drive & Dine Theatre already looks to be a popular remedy for those eager to taste some semblance of normality and a social life this summer.
