QSR chain Five Guys has launched a new Pistachio flavour milkshake in its UK stores, in fitting with one of the leading food trends of the year and across social media food trends too.
Five Guys adds Pistachio to an already expansive list of milkshakes on the menu, including Chocolate, Banana, Oreo Cookie Pieces, Strawberry, Salted Caramel, REESE'S Peanut Butter Cups, Biscoff, Bacon, Vanilla and Peanut Butter. Each of these 11 flavours can be enjoyed in isolation, or combined with others from the list to make your own combo.
Pistachio is a flavour trend that we started to talk about in our reports last year as one on the rise and this year has proven that trend in many forms. Pistachio flavours have trended across social media and TikTok in particular, whilst we've seem several other new product launches leveraging the pistachio trend too.
At the start of the year, Starbucks added a Pistachio Cold Brew to its menus, whilst we also saw the pistachio colour trending in home decor, making it a crossover trend hit too.
