Former Noma Chef Coming to London

Ex-Noma chef Leonardo Pereira is set to open his new restaurant, Nutshell, in Covent Garden early 2019. The Iranian venue promises food from the country's culture cooked with British ingredients, and a pop-up venture at Hopscotch on Brick Lane will give a feel for what's to come.

The Hopscotch pop-up will run until the end of 2018, and will feature dishes such as Crab with Persimmon & Nasturtium; grilled onions with whey & smoked salt; red partridge with pomegranate & oregano and pollock & saffron & green mandarin.

Portuguese chef Pereira has previously guested at Lyle's since leaving Noma, and has continued to make a name for himself over the years so the new Covent Garden opening is one that we're quite excited for.
