All Things gets into the dip with cottage cheese creations

Cottage cheese is continuing its glow-up, and this time it's getting a dip makeover!

British dairy brand All Things has launched its first range of cottage cheese dips, bringing a protein-packed twist to two familiar favourites: Sour Cream & Chive and Dill & Pickle. The 150g pots are priced at £1.95, with Sour Cream & Chive landing in Tesco and Ocado and Dill & Pickle set to follow on Ocado later this month.

The dips feature live cultures and short ingredient lists, with just four ingredients in the Sour Cream & Chive variety. It's another clever move for a food that's been enjoying plenty of social media attention, proving cottage cheese can do far more than sit on the side of your salad.

Whether you're dunking your crisps, spreading it on a sandwich or loading up a crudités platter, this is one curd-iously good way to shake up snack time.

Waitrose says bake it, shake it, love it!

Dinner just got a little more hands-on, thanks to Waitrose's new Bake & Shake chicken chunks.

The idea is deliciously simple: bake the chicken until golden, add the accompanying sauce, give everything a good shake and get stuck in. The range includes flavours such as Korean BBQ, with its sticky, smoky sauce and gochujang mayo, alongside other tempting twists designed to bring a little takeaway-style excitement to the dinner table.

It's an easy option for those evenings when you fancy something a bit more fun than the usual chicken and veg, whether served alongside chips, piled into wraps or enjoyed as a sharing snack. And with the shake-it-yourself element, there's a little kitchen theatre thrown in for good measure.

Who needs a dinner bell when you can have a dinner shake?

A spud with a Sunday roast flavour? Meet the potato taking Whole Foods by storm

Move over roasties, there's a new potato in town with a rather unexpected flavour profile!

The Poulette potato, developed by Row 7 Seed Company in collaboration with researchers at Cornell University, has been making headlines after being described as having a taste reminiscent of roast chicken. Yes, really - a humble spud that might just bring a little Sunday-lunch magic to your plate. The variety combines French heirloom potato heritage with modern breeding, delivering a rich, savoury flavour and a delicate, floury texture that lends itself to roasting, frying and mashing.

It's now available at selected Whole Foods Market stores in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, so for the time being, this clucky little potato remains a US find rather than a UK supermarket staple.

We're not saying you can skip the chicken altogether, but if these spuds really do deliver on their roast-dinner promise, they could be a cracking addition to the plate.

Asda and Oscar Mayer settle the pizza-or-pasta debate with Pizzagne

Can't decide between pizza and lasagne for dinner? Asda and Oscar Mayer reckon you shouldn't have to.

Enter Pizzagne, a brand-new hybrid ready meal that brings two Italian-inspired favourites together in one gloriously cheesy creation. Landing in Asda stores from 26th October, the 850g dish combines traditional lasagne with all the pizza-inspired toppings you could wish for, in two varieties: Double Pepperoni and Meatball Marinara. Designed to serve four and priced at £6.57, it's a sliceable supper that promises to bring a little novelty to family mealtimes.

Developed at Oscar Mayer's innovation centre in Wrexham, the mash-up aims to make the age-old dinner-table debate a thing of the past. No more choosing between pizza night and pasta night - this is the best of both worlds, layered up and ready to serve.

We're calling it a pasta-tively brilliant solution to dinner indecision!

Kraft Dinner gets cheesy in the drinks aisle with a rather unexpected soda

Mac and cheese in a can? Not quite - but Kraft Dinner is taking its signature cheesiness into the drinks aisle with a decidedly unusual new creation!

The Canadian comfort-food favourite has teamed up with Toronto-based Solly's Craft Soda to launch KD x Solly's Cream Soda, a limited-edition fizzy drink combining classic, sweet cream soda with a hint of Kraft Dinner's iconic cheesy flavour. Launched in Canada in September, the collaboration is available online and at selected retailers, including Walmart, while stocks last.

The idea is to give fans a whole new way to enjoy their beloved mac and cheese, whether alongside a bowl of KD or simply as a standalone sip. It follows a string of inventive KD mash-ups, including mac and cheese cheesecake and KD ramen, as the brand continues to think outside the box - or, in this case, outside the bowl. The sweet-and-savoury concoction has certainly got people talking, with reactions ranging from intrigued to downright baffled.

We're not sure it'll be everyone's cup of tea (or can of soda), but one thing's for certain: this is one seriously cheesy way to pop the question, "Fancy a drink?"
