The requirements include brands reaching depletions of at least 50,000 nine-litre cases but not over 200,000 in 2013, in addition to a minimum of 15% growth during the year, and having consistent solid growth the two previous years. The influential "Hot Prospects" awards were also featured in the October issue of Market Watch, the pinnacle of drinks industry analysis.

The impressive depletion milestone marks an undeniable growth in popularity for Glenmorangie, which has held the title as the fastest growing Single Malt Scotch Whisky in America for four consecutive years.
