Renowned global ramen chain Ippudo has opened an impressive new location in Sydney's Circular Quay - the popular tourist hotspot as well as being a buzzing transport hub for the city. The new venue overlooks some of Sydney's most infamous landmarks, while being surrounded by a plethora of high-end restaurants that the Circular Quay location attracts, giving diners a visual experience while eating their Hakata-style ramen.
The new design-focused space is situated on the second floor of the new-look Opera Residences, and carries impressive interior features like its wave-like light installation swaying above, giving a sophisticated feel to the restaurant.
Having opened Australia's first Ippudo location back in 2012, the new Circular Quay spot is the chain's eighth store - part of an impressive growth plan around the world that has seen venues launched in 16 countries worldwide.
Ippudo was established in 1985 in Fukuoka City, Japan, as HAKATA IPPUDO. Following multiple openings around Japan, the first international location opened in 2008, Ippudo NY, fast becoming a popular ramen shop in the city. Since then the chain has won multiple global awards and accolades.
