Hotel Chocolat Branched Out Into Puddings at the Recent Bafta Awards

The glitz and glam of celebrity award ceremonies often get head to toe coverage from all angles, looking at who wore what, who said what, who put their foot in it ... but also what food everybody ate. One of the highlights to come out of the recent BAFTA - British Academy of Film and Television Arts - awards was Hotel Chocolat who provided the desserts for all diners on the star-studded evening in London.

Hotel Chocolat, was the official sponsor for the film awards, and delivered a beautifully crafted chocolate mousse for guests including Jennifer Lawrence, Angelina Jolie and Margot Robbie, as well as Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

Created

It created using low-sugar milk chocolate, the mousse was adorned with a chocolate face in the shape of the BAFTA award logo, and served with a sesame and nigella seed brittle, and finished off with a sweet salted caramel chocolate sauce.

The dessert then went on sale days later at the chain's Borough Market store in the capital. Missed it? You can dig your spoon into the dessert over Mother's Day at Rabot 1745. And if you do, let us know what you think over on Twitter @thefoodpeople
