Supermarket chain Iceland Foods has joined forced with parenting publication Mumsnet to introduce a new range of children's products in 2025.
All we know for now is that some exciting things are in the works between the two brands but for now we'll have to sit tight on the details. But the news fits the trend of brands looking to offer consumers more cost-effective food options following the effects of the cost-of-living crisis.
The news follows the launch of Iceland's first-ever customer manifesto, which was launched in order to give customers a voice int he build up to the General Election. The manifesto uses survey data and was shared publicly on 4th July. Statistics from the report highlight that the biggest issue facing Britain was the cost-of-living crisis, with 74% of respondents being worse off than they were in 2021.
The Iceland and Mumsnet collaboration comes after the successful partnership between the frozen foods supermarket chain and Wilko, which saw frozen foods introduced into stores for the first time in two stores as a proof of concept.
