Iceland Serves Up A Rainbow

Hitting the shelves is the latest creation from Iceland, a colourful ice cream to raise a smile and help to raise funds for the hard-pressed NHS during the battle against COVID-19.

The multi-coloured Rainbow Cheesecake Ice Cream is the latest sweet treat from The Food Warehouse, part of Iceland, and shall be available later this week. Best of all however is how all profits from sales are set to be donated to the Iceland Charitable Foundation to support various NHS charities.

Reflecting the rainbow symbol which has becoming a supporting sign for NHS workers, the new ice cream promises to "brighten up dessert plates across the nation."

The ice cream itself is a cheesecake flavoured creation, containing a mix of strawberry and black cherry sauces, topped with delicious sugar sprinkles.

It is available in Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores as well as online and costs £2 for a 900ml container while there's currently a special offer of two containers for £3.

Iceland have already made dedicated shopping hours available to NHS staff, allowing them to access key foodstuffs before or after their intense lengthy shifts caring for those affected by COVID-19.
