Introducing 2023 Trend Summit Speakers - thefoodpeople team

Following a number of exciting speaker announcements for this November's Trend Summit, we're pleased to introduce the speakers who will be sharing insight from within thefoodpeople team - Co-Founder and Director Charles Banks, as well as Shokofeh Hejazi, Head of Insight.

Both Charles and Shokofeh are regular speakers at our annual Trend Summit, sharing insight from the team's research over the years and how that shapes the years to come.

Charles will both chair the event and also bring to life the 2024/25 trends framework. He'll be exploring the defining areas of change on the foresight horizon in this era of momentous change in food and drink.

Shokofeh brings her expertise in trends together with her experience in retail and hospitality in both the UK and overseas, to share the culinary and gastronomic trends for 2024/25. From food philosophies and cooking techniques to cuisines and ingredients.

The duo join an already accomplished roster of speakers including Amelia Boothman - Strategy Consultant at 1HQ; Reniera O'Donnell - Food Lead at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation; Dominie Fearn - Founding Director at the Wild Hare Group; Kate Hofman - Founder and Chief Brand Officer at GrowUp Farms; Imad Alarnab - Chef Owner at Imad's Syrian Kitchen; and Fadi Kattan - Chef and Co-Founder at Akub Restaurant in Nottinghill.
