Gurdeep is a food writer, speaker on the topic of Food, Cultural Appropriation & Race, and curator of the online platform Mother Tongue TV, an online video channel celebrating food stories of migration around the world.
At the 9th Annual Food & Beverage Trend Summit, taking place virtually once again this 22nd November, Gurdeep will be in conversation with Charles Banks talking about his perspective on world food, cultural appropriation, migration, race and identity, based on his learnings from his online platform Mother Tongue TV. These learnings have culminated in his first cookbook - Mother Tongue: Flavours of a Second Generation, which celebrates his British-Indian identity.
