National barbecue week runs from 30th May to 5th June, and to celebrate the minds behind Disaronno have come up with a few summer cocktails to keep you refreshed during your summer garden parties. Give them a go.
DISARONNO Sour
50ml Disaronno
25ml Lemon Juice
5ml Sugar syrup
And a slice of lemon
Method: Fill a glass with ice, pour the Disaronno and lemon juice into the glass. Add the sugar syrup, stir and garnish with the slice of lemon
DISARONNO Smoking Mexican Sour
25ml Disaronno
25ml Tequila
25ml Lemon juice
2 dashes orange bitters
Method: Pour all the ingredients into a shaker and dry shake to create a nice frothy texture. Add ice to the shaker and shake well. Strain over cubed ice into a rocks glass. Drop two dashes of angostura bitters on top and garnish with a chilli and lime slice
DISARONNO Kentucky Sour
25ml Disaronno
25ml Bourbon
25ml lemon juice
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Method: Add all the ingredients to a rocks glass filled with ice. Stir well and garnish with a lemon slice and a glazed cherry
