Not happy to only stick doing what it knows best, making fried chicken, fast food giant KFC is the latest brand to dip its toe into the fashion game, teaming up with London-based menswear designer Katie Eary to create its first London Fashion Week show.
The collection was created as part of KFC's #PackMoreIntoLunch marketing campaign, as Katie and her team were challenged to set up a true catwalk worthy collection in just an hour - a well spent lunch break! Did they manage it? Of course. And once out on the catwalk the models were packing in the outfits too, with even KFC's new rice boxes being pushed - ideal for eating while out on the go at ... well London Fashion Week of course.
When you pair KFC and fashion, you would be forgiven for expecting some horrific looking fluffy chicken outfits but thankfully everything was well produced, designed and hosted as the Kentucky brand showed versatility in its game. But don't expect to see any of these garments in your local branch any time soon!
