Following a two minute sell out of its Lidl x Nikolas Bentel luxury 'Croissant Handbag', Lidl has announced 'Patisserie Lidl', its first ever London Fashion Week pop-up. Elsewhere on the high street, Greggs has launched a jewellery line.
Following huge demand for more of the viral Lidl x Nikolas Bentel Croissant Handbags, the supermarket chain has announced its first ever London Fashion Week pop-up - Patisserie Lidl. Available on Dean Street, Soho, the two day pop-up which opened today will offer sweet, pastry treats and a limited number of Croissant Handbags to visitors.
Patisserie Lidl sees high fashion meet bakery, showcasing the aesthetic inspiration behind the viral accessory. Shoppers who missed out on the initial drop can get their hands on one of the luxurious, leather handbags for just £50, which are being sold on a first-come first-served basis. Alongside, a range of baked goods will also be available.
Another famed bakery was also in the news this week for its own branch out of the norm, as Greggs announced a collection of 22 carat gold-plated Greggs-inspired jewellery. Baked in Gold is the first ever official Greggs jewellery collection – available online from today, 13th September, - also just in time for London Fashion Week.
The limited edition range features Sausage Roll earrings, a Jammy Heart Necklace and even a Greggs charm bracelet, with each piece hand-crafted by contemporary British artist Dion Kitson.
