The Love Food Give Food campaign, created to help raise funds for Action Against Hunger, has got underway this month at a number of London's most popular restaurants.
The campaign, which runs through September and October, sees customers asked to add just £1 to their bill which goes directly towards supporting communities, both in the UK and around the world. who are facing life-threatening hunger.
Amongst the list of restaurants already signed up to take part are Hawksmoor, Smokestak, Goodman, Hakkasan, Darjeeling Express, and Caravan.
Right now, there are 11 million children around the world at risk of life-threatening hunger. Action Against Hunger supports mothers who often stand as the frontline defence in their children's fight against malnutrition. We know that mums will go to enormous lengths to provide food for their families. But sometimes the odds against them can be stacked very high.
