Leading QSR chain McDonald's has opened a new small-format, beverage-led concept, CosMc's, that's inspired by nostalgia and powered by a menu of bold, refreshing beverages and tasty treats.
The new brand is being rolled out in a few locations in the US this month as part of a limited test, in Bolingbrook and Illinois, with a handful of additional outposts planned in the coming months.
CosMc's menu is rooted in beverage exploration, with bold and unexpected flavour combinations, vibrant colours and functional boosts. These beverages include a range of specialty lemonades and teas, including Sour Cherry Energy Slush, Tropical Spiceade, Sour Tango Lemonade, Blackberry Mint Green Tea and S'mores Cold Brew. You can also make each drink your own through customisations which include popping boba, flavour syrups, Vitamin C shots and more.
When it comes to the food, you can expect savoury offerings including a Creamy Avocado Tomatillo Sandwich, Spicy Queso Sandwich, Pretzel Bites, Savory Hash Brown Bites, and more. You'll also find a few regulars from McDonald's main menu too including Egg McMuffin Sandwiches and McFlurries too.
The chain is aiming to open 10 more pilot locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio metro areas by the end of 2024. Find out more about CosMc's on the new brand website here.
