QSR chain McDonald's has introduced a new vegan ice cream in two flavours to selected outlet menus across the UK, described by the brand as being like 'Summer in a scoop'.
The new plant-based Scoop ice creams have been accredited vegan by The Vegetarian Society and are now available at 52 McDonald's restaurants across the North West of England throughout the summer, until the trial ends early September.
Alongside the introduction of the Strawberry Scoop and Choco Scoop tubs, McDonald's is also trialling two fruit-based lollies, the Orange McFreezy and Mango & Pineapple McFreezy. These iced pops will be available in 187 outlets across the North West, and in select restaurants in the Republic of Ireland.
