Mei Mei Returns

Regular visitors to London's Borough Market will be pleased to know that the mercurial Elizabeth Haigh is once again able to dish up the familiar array of treats on offer at Mei Mei; the perfect tonic to any ongoing lockdown food blues.

Alongside Mei Mei's ability to now offer takeaway food at their Borough Market site, the kopi tiam inspired business has also been busy selling goods via their website, helping customers recreate some favourite dishes no matter where they are in Britain right now.

The online store has been selling the likes of Singapore curry powder, meat Rendang spice mix and the unique Kava coconut jam; meaning the Mei Mei classic is always on the cards even if you cannot visit physically yet. Further kits are anticipated to be release online soon, such as those for Kava Toast and Nasi Lemak, both containing everything required to replicate the experience at home.

Mei Mei are currently selling from their Borough Market home, as long as customers consume goods off site or they are collected by Deliveroo for those who are further afield; with favourites such as Bak Chor Mee, Pandan milk buns, fried chicken & plenty more all available.

Current opening hours are Thursday, Friday & Saturday; 10am - 4pm.
