Melbourne Welcomes The Return Of Its Cocktail Festival This Month

It's all happening in Melbourne this month with the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and also the return of the Melbourne Cocktail Festival too as part of the festivities, now in its third year, running from 4th to 10th April.

The celebration of exceptional cocktail culture sees a busy agenda of in-venue events and experiences - tastings to takeovers, educational adventures and those sorely missed parties too. "Working with Melbourne's best bars, and some of the top names in the industry, MCF is here to shine a light on the local producers, distillers, suppliers, bartenders, and businesses that makeup Melbourne's cocktail culture. Melbourne Cocktail Festival exists to celebrate the bars, bartenders, suppliers and makers that help to make our city so great - and to help reinvigorate the city's nightlife." quotes the event's website.

Events include a cocktail making class with Little Lon Distillery, a deep-dive into bitters with chef Michael Ryan of Provenance and co-founder of Beechworth Bitters Co. Whiskey cocktail tasing at The Douglas Club will be a hit for many while popular Asian eatery Aru will also be joining the celebrations with a new Maidenii bitter, and offering diners three limited edition drinks to try out from Darren Leaney. Plenty for all cocktail fans and socialites to enjoy.
