Supermarket chain Marks & Spencer has agreed a wholesale deal to supply coffee chain Costa with M&S food across stores from next year. The new partnership will see over 30 lines of M&S food stocked in over 2,500 of the coffee chain's franchise stores in 2022 as well as via drive thru lanes.
The collaboration with M&S Food means Costa Coffee can provide an even greater range of quality, great value food for all customers' breakfast, lunch and break-time needs. The full list of products that will be retailed will be released ahead of the full launch next year, but customers can expect to enjoy a range of popular M&S Food items, including their iconic range of fresh sandwiches and salads. And innovative products to suit all dietary choices from the successful Plant Kitchen and Made Without brands.
Stuart Machin, Chief Operating Officer and M&S Food Managing Director, said: "M&S Food is famous for great quality food on-the-go at fantastic value. This collaboration gives many more customers the opportunity to enjoy our wide range of delicious sandwiches, salads and snacks in over 2,500 locations across the UK – not just on the high street but in neighbourhood locations and retail parks.
"Bringing together delicious, great quality M&S Food and the Nation's largest chain of coffee shops is great for customers as it extends our reach and supports our strategy of making M&S more relevant, more often for families."
