Nestle's ProNourish Brand Launches Gluten Free and Low FODMAP Recipe Videos

ProNourish, a nutritional drink brand from Nestlé Health Science, is furthering its mission to support people with digestive sensitivities with the launch of videos showcasing quick and easy gluten-free and low-FODMAP snack ideas. Short and snappy "hands and pans" recipe videos have gained popularity online, garnering around 500 million views per month. Most commonly, these are intended for the population at large. These new recipe videos from ProNourish, however, are geared toward people with digestive sensitivities who are following a gluten-free and/or low-FODMAP diet.

The videos are being released in conjunction with a year-long collaboration between ProNourish Nutritional Drink and the Celiac Disease Foundation, which will include communications and sharing of resources with patients and healthcare professionals through CDF's e-newsletters, social media channels, and website. To view these videos, please visit the ProNourish Facebook page.

"The Celiac Disease Foundation is committed to cultivating relationships with leading corporations and brands like Nestlé Health Science and ProNourish that share our vision of improving the quality of life for all people affected by celiac disease and non-celiac gluten and wheat sensitivity," explains Marilyn G. Geller, CEO of the Celiac Disease Foundation. "Providing our audience with simple recipe videos designed especially for them allows us to do that."

Barbara McCartney, Regional Business Head for NHS Consumer Care in North America, shares, "The NHS mission is to offer nutritional solutions to help improve consumer's lives. We are passionate about digestive health, shown by the ProNourish™ Nutritional Drink launch last year and our ongoing efforts to develop resources for people with digestive sensitivities." She adds, "Partnering with CDF is an optimal way to offer meaningful solutions to those people who can truly benefit from them."

The new videos feature new Chocolate ProNourish Drink, which allows people with digestive sensitivities to enjoy a flavor favorite. Chocolate ProNourish Drink with its cocoa ingredient, is certified low FODMAP by Monash University, an international leader of low-FODMAP food testing and certification.

Danielle Capalino, a digestive-health focused registered dietitian, focuses on finding simple ways for people with digestive sensitivities to eat without worry. She reports, "I always encourage my clients to plan ahead so they will have what they need, even with a busy, on-the-go lifestyle. Short videos make that so easy – especially with the easily packable low-FODMAP and gluten-free snack ideas featured in the new recipe videos like no-bake bites, hummus, and ProNourish Nutritional Drink."
