Global streaming giant Netflix has announced plans to open a number of bricks and mortar stores in 2025, with immersive restaurants where visitors can get close and personal with hit shows - called Netflix House.
The first two locations are set to open in the US and if the concept proves successful the brand has claimed it'll be taking the locations global. "We've seen how much fans love to immerse themselves in the world of our movies and TV shows, and we've been thinking a lot about how we take that to the next level," Josh Simon, Netflix's vice president of consumer products, explained to Bloomberg.
This won't be the first time that fans of popular Netflix shows have immersed themselves into television hits via food and beverage. The streaming service launched pop-up restaurant Netflix Bites in Los Angeles earlier this year which served up dishes created by celebrity chefs that have appeared on Netflix's shows over the years. However, Netflix House will be the brand's first attempt at permanent locations.
Details of exactly what we can expect come opening in 2025 are yet to be unveiled.
