The latest venture from Rohit Chugh, the chef behind Indian restaurants Roti Chai and Chai Ki, has recently opened Bambusa - an Asian cafe in Fitzrovia, London.
The new café, based on the popular Charlotte Street, is a casual all-day venue serving up Asian-inspired grab-and-go style dishes with build-your-own options and a counter out front dedicated to pastries and coffee.
The menu at Bambusa features Asian inspired breakfast plates including sriracha egg scramble buns and omelette sliders with kewpie mayonnaise. While at lunch you can build your own lunch box with sushi rice or salad leaves, coupled with ginger-shoyu chicken thighs, kimchi BBQ jackfruit or chilli bean tofu, complete with toppings such as furikake (seawood seasoning) and ponzu citrus dressing.
