Our latest monthly recap of the hottest new food and beverage openings from around the world on trendhub is live, spotlighting six highlight openings from June here on the blog.

In no particular order, six highlights from the comprehensive foodwatching and drinkswatching new opening reports are:

No 79 Bar & Terrace, New York

The Lower East Side has a new cocktail venture owned by Nur Khan, one of NYC's preeminent figures of New York City's hospitality scene. No. 79 Bar and Terrace is led by global mixologist and executive director of Tales Of The Cocktail Foundation, Charlotte Voisey

The cocktail offering is designed to be refreshing, showcasing drinks with 'Creative Downtown Edge' as well as favourite classics.

Chef Chris Skoda heads the kitchen, with a playful menu featuring elevated chicken nuggets, beef hot dogs with fixin's and skewered snacks.

Bacha Coffee, Paris

Originating from Marrakech, Morocco, Bacha Coffee has now opened in Paris, France.

There are over 200 speciality coffees on offer, each 100% Arabica and all hand-roasted using traditional methods. The coffees are sourced from 35 known coffee producing regions from around the world. Each cup is prepared to order and served with fresh Chantilly cream, raw sugar stick and a reusable glass straw. They also serve coffee infused cuisine and artisanal pastries.

Doberman Drawing Room, Las Vegas

Doberman Drawing Room has opened its doors in the Las Vegas Arts District, owned by Corner Bar Management, with business partner and mixologist Juyoung Kang at the helm.

The menu is inspired by global influences from Kang's travels, like Howling Wolves, a sour with Japanese whisky, sherry and cantaloupe, or the Bird's Eye View, an Americano with a tropical edge.

The Paper Mill, Sydney

The Paper Mill Food has been rejuvenated by the Platinum Hospitality Group; there are three restaurants, a bar and four function spaces that can seat from nine to two hundred people.

The restaurants are Ana's Kitchen that serves contemporary Australian cuisine in a casual dining style. The Vault is an upscale dining experience serving premium cuts of meat and fish. Al Aseel is a Middle Eastern restaurant that is well known around Sydney. The Carrera Bar serves all the restaurants and has a full bar service. Chef Stefano Brombal who has experience of multi-venue operations oversees all the kitchens.

Molly Mc's, London

Molly Mc's is a singing pub from the team behind Mc & Sons in Borough and Vauxhall. Named after the family's grandmother, they have imported decorations, letters and more from her.

The cocktail list is based on Irish spirits, such as the Old Fashioned with Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey.

Food features both Irish and Thai food, including the spice bag, a mix of fries, crispy popcorn and hot peppers.

They have three shebeen-style rooms that can be booked for groups to sing any music they want, plus there are two private snugs. Traditional music sessions will also be found in the main bar.

Margo's, Woburn

Owned by Candice Brown, the Great British Bake Off Winner in 2016 and her brother Ben, Margo's is named after their grandmother. The restaurant is based on core values of family with good times and sharing dishes.

In the daytime the place is a deli counter with takeaway and coffee, with an eat-in day menu of salads, sandwiches and main dishes. In the evening, the menu changes to a selection of hot and cold starters, with larger plates that are inspired by European dining. Wine and cocktail menus are found with flavours from around the world.
