New Walkers Crisps Flavours Inspired By Your Local Restaurants

Walkers Crisps has launched four new flavours of their crisps inspired by some of our favourite restaurants, as part of their Taste Icons range, to celebrate and support local eateries with each bag offering a £5 off food code for you to use at one of 3,000 local restaurants.

The four new flavours were rolled out earlier this month and include Madras Curry - inspired by Radhuni in Loanhead, Thai Green Curry - inspired by Mantra in Newcastle, Fish & Chips - inspired by Yorkshire's The Wetherby Whaler, and Chicken Burrito - inspired by London's Yukka.

In launching the new flavours, Katherine Cook from Walkers said: "Over the past 18 months, we have seen that, no matter what, local restaurants have been there for us as a nation. This year, Walkers is supporting and celebrating local restaurants by re-creating the flavours of the delicious dishes of four, much-loved local restaurants on our crisps and telling their iconic stories on our packs. We have also enlisted thousands of restaurants across the nation to participate in the offer to drive footfall to local restaurants (within five miles of every diner). At Walkers, we are proud to be able to give back to local businesses.
