Pizza Hut, the company that brought pizza lovers legendary products like BigFoot, the Big New Yorker, and Cheesy Bites Pizza, is introducing another epic pizza creation that finally brings pizza and breadsticks together: The Twisted Crust Pizza.
Launching Sept. 21 in the U.S., the large hand-tossed Twisted Crust pizza features a tearable, dippable breadstick crust served with a choice of two dipping sauces and one-topping for $11.99.
"We are not afraid to experiment with new and innovative flavour combinations for our food, but sometimes it's the most obvious innovations that amaze us the most – and Twisted Crust is an example of an innovation that has done just that," said Jared Drinkwater, vice president of marketing, Pizza Hut. "We know America loves our pizza, but we have enormous, loyal group of Pizza Hut breadstick lovers out there, too. We believe our new Twisted Crust Pizza is the ultimate flavor combination of these two popular items that consumers will absolutely love."
For added flavour, Pizza Hut is launching two new dipping sauces to accompany the Twisted Crust Pizza. The pizza will be delivered with a traditional marinara sauce for dipping and a choice of either Buffalo Ranch or a Cheddar Cheese sauce.
