Plant-Based Pasta Restaurant Opens In Bloomsbury's Brunswick Centre, London

A new plant-based pasta restaurant has opened in London's Brunswick Centre in Bloomsbury, Punk Pasta - an exciting new sustainability focused, egg-free spot in the capital.

The new opening comes from Erich Ribeiro, the founder and chef of Covent Garden's now closed Redemption Bar, a plant-based restaurant that was a casualty of the pandemic last year. The restaurant's website quotes, "Here at Punk Pasta we've combined our love of anarchy, a passion for delicious vegan pasta dishes and a fervent outrage regarding the destruction of our planet into a restaurant full of style and substance.

"We celebrate all rule breaking but we don't break a single egg when making pasta. This immediately reduces the amount of baby chicks being thrown into a grinder and obliterated - so smiles all round."

Available for dine-in as well as takeaway, you can expect to find some of your well known classics on the menu including Spaghetti and Meat Balls, Sausage with Fagioli, Tomato Conchiglie as well as a Hemp Pesto Spaghetti.
