Purity Vodka, a hand-crafted, ultra-premium Swedish vodka, has won the prestigious title of Grand Vodka Master - "2016 Vodka of the Year" for the sixth year in a row at the 2016 Global Spirits Masters competition.
"The Spirits Business congratulates Purity Vodka for winning the 2016 Grand Vodka Master. Becoming Vodka of the Year for six consecutive years is a historic achievement never accomplished before by any spirit in any category at The Spirits Masters," said David Rose, Deputy Chairman of The Spirits Business.
The Spirits Business Masters are awarded based on blind tasting panels lead by spirit experts and trade journalists. The brands that receive Gold and Master awards are then evaluated on a variety of levels and extensive criteria for the year's ultimate prize, the title of Grand Master.
In addition to this top honor, Purity Vodka continues to reign victorious in the vodka category, winning more than 130 gold medals by experts in top international blind tasting competitions around the world.
"I am honored to receive such a great historic achievement," said Thomas Kuuttanen Master Blender of Purity Vodka. "I am proud that our unique 34 time distillation process continues to provide consumers the exceptional quality and taste they are looking for."
