It continues to be a period of innovation and adaptation for restaurants which remain unable to open due to COVID, forcing many to switch to a delivery model of sorts, simply to survive the ongoing restrictions which cripple the industry.
One of the latest names to join this surge in at home dining is Arrosto, created by those behind the popular Quality Chop House, seeking to provide those in lockdown with food to offer comfort.
Coined as delivering 'elegant comfort food in these uncomfortable times', Arrosto has a menu curated by Chef Nick Bramham, inspired by the Neopolitan rosticcerie culture which features plenty of spit roasted chicken.
Alongside the classic roast chicken there shall be other options such as:
- Chicken Milanese Sandwich - Breaded and fried chicken thigh in a soft toasted roll with roast peppers, provolone and rocket
- Arrosto Piadina - A traditional flatbread from Romagna, here filled with Arrosto chicken, Broccoli Ripassata & Burrata.
- 'Zuni Cafe' Roast Chicken & Bread Salad - described as "An homage to the iconic Californian restaurant's cult dish". A whole Arrosto chicken, jointed and served with a warm salad of torn toasted foccacia, pine nuts, raisins, spring onions and mixed leaves.
The opening of Arrosto reflects the themes of one of our recent trend reports 'Roast Chicken Revival' which you can read here.
