Sainsbury's is set to open a limited time only pop-up low alcohol pub in London later this July, called the Clean Vic. Opening for the 24th and 25th July only, the pub in Holborn will serve drinks with a maximum alcohol level of 0.5% abv as the supermarket looks to reinforce its focus on the low and no alcohol sector.
Anne Cooper, Buyer at Sainsbury's, explains: "We're seeing a really exciting spike in the no and low alcohol category, which has been growing since 2001.
"With an increasing number of products now available,' she continues, 'those who want to hold off on alcoholic beverages don't need to miss out on the experience of enjoying a beer with friends or even a mocktail made with a delicious non-alcoholic distillate."
A range of 20 low or alcohol-free drinks will be served, from craft beer Lucky Saint to a zero-alcohol whisky alternative Celtic Soul and more. Find out more on how to visit the pub here.
