An already popular fixture upon the scene in London, Oklava is poised to be partnered with a new sister outfit called Oklava Bakery + Wine, masterminded by chef Selin Kiazim and business partner Laura Christie.
Kiazim is soon to close her Fitzrovia restaurant Kyseri, after which she shall transform it from the current incarnation of Anatolian cuisine, into Oklava Bakery + Wine; opening upon Grafton Way in late January.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner shall all be available, plus Saturday brunch options, while the bakery will feature elements from Kyseri and Oklava. Dishes set to be featured at the new establishment include a daily börek, poğaça, a full Turkish breakfast, tepsi kebab and plenty more familiar dishes.
A limited take away service shall operate, as well as an online pre-order service for baked goods, with the likes of hot and cold drinks, wine, bread, pastries, sandwiches and salads also available.
Christie's work shall include curating the selection of wine, focusing upon regions such as, Turkey, Armenia, Lebanon, Georgia, and Greece; all of which shall be available by the glass.
