Sydney's popular inner west restaurant The Grounds of Alexandria has been announced as the world's most Instagrammed restaurant with over 120,440 posts according to a survey by Betway.
It's little surprise given the extravagant interiors on show at The Grounds of Alexandria, including 'The Circus' which hosts events and showcases an array of sweet treats.
Described on its website, the venue says: The Grounds of Alexandria, our original location established in 2012, is one of Sydney's favourite hospitality destinations. It boasts our famous Grounds Cafe, our restaurant The Potting Shed, our iconic Garden Bar & BBQ, and fabulous themed installations which draw people from all over Sydney and the world. The Grounds of Alexandria is also home to an array of unique private event spaces, hosting everything from intimate gatherings to weddings and corporate events.
In second place on the rankings was London's Sketch, the popular 18th-century townhouse tea room that transforms into a cocktail lounge every evening. Whilst taking top spot as the most IG viral restaurant in the US was Nobu Malibu, with over 61,000 posts dedicated to the venue.
