The Great Feast of London is a food, music and wellbeing festival, supporting the endeavours of A Plate For London, the charity organisation which strives to tackle food poverty within the capital.
The event combines the digital and physical, combining food and drink delivered to your home with streamed live music, wellbeing classes, talks and other unique experiences. Though the event itself is free to all, there is of course the price of any recipe kits or home delivered food purchased during the three day festival, but with a range of prices and flavours on offer there should be something for everyone.
Partnering with A Plate For London means that every meal ordered during the festival shall be matched in order to feed an individual in need, while events during the three days will also improve awareness of food poverty and tackle sustainability issues in food and drink too. US thinker Charles Eisenstein is speaking with Amisha Ghadiali about building a more connected world. Project Anja is leading a meditation workshop, while Josie Danielle is presenting a sound healing session. For those looking for something more physical, yoga classes across the weekend are hosted by More Yoga.
Names taking part in The Great Feast of London include Ollie Dabbous, Nuno Mendes, Patty & Bun, Kricket, Neil Rankin and many more. Music shall be on offer from Groove Armada's Tom Findlay, Jazzie B, Don Letts, Goldie and Felix from Basement Jaxx, who will be bringing the party right to you.
Drinks are also on offer and available to order from the likes of Bevertown, Fourpure and Brick Brewery.
