This November, the Jam Tree invites weary Londoners to escape the bleak winter weather for an evening of world street food courtesy of Pangea. Taking place on Tuesday 19th November 2013 at the Jam Tree Clapham, Pangea- World Street Food promises the atmosphere of a vibrant street party with a global six course menu and soundtrack to match.
Pangea, a street food company based in Brixton, was set up by 2013 Masterchef semi finalist Ollie Hunter. As well as serving up fresh, vibrant global fare at lunch-time hotspot Brixton Street Food Corner, Pangea have hosted a number of pop-ups including a stint at Brixton’s The Duke of Edinburgh pub in August. Their newest venture, Brixton Food Academy, is an educational hub which aims to inform and inspire Brixtonians on the area’s colourful food scene, from market tours and cooking lessons to helping carve out careers in the food world.
Guests at the Jam Tree will be taken on a culinary journey around the world, with each of the six courses originating from a different continent. The dishes are inspired by the flavours and textures of traditional street food found all over the world; bringing together a fusion of flavours, spices and influences.
These bold flavour combinations, made with the freshest ingredients and spices, will be served local style, on colourful plates, bowls and wooden sharing boards to mirror the experience of a food market, whilst maintaining the sophistication of a restaurant.
The Menu for the evening will feature:

-Bourbon BBQ Pork Shoulder Burrito

-Moroccan Lamb Tagine, Saffron Rice, Coriander, Yoghurt, Toasted Almonds, Flatbread
