BBC News featured Veganuary, and the growing trent in following a diet that cuts out animal derived products for the month, interviewing people taking part, as well as Shokofeh to go deeper on how people are changing their habits to adapt to eating vegan. The organisers behind Veganuary predict the about 78,000 people in the UK tried going vegan in January, while it's estimated that from 2006 to 2016, the number of vegans in the UK has risen from 150,00 to 542,000, as it becomes more accepted and more accessible.
